I'm taking requests...

Yahoo--it's summertime! I hope you're enjoying the sun, the water, and the oven-free recipes I put up last month. But summertime also means that my brain is on vacation, and I'm drawing a blank as to what kinds of recipes I should post for July.

So I have decided to take requests... Is there anything you would like to see? Please take a minute and comment back to me on what kinds of recipes you'd like me to compile, or if you have specific recipes you'd like to know more about--that's fine, too. Just let me know! Now that we have reliable internet (cross your fingers for us), I should be able to respond pretty quickly. I will post my answers below, so keep checking back!

Can't wait to hear from you!!!

  1. Karen, thanks for the link. I will anxiously check your blog frequently. I've looked through some of the recipes and they look great. I can't wait to try the Red curry, we love Thai.

As far as requests: I'm growing tired of my chicken and steak (esp steak) marinade recipes.

  4. Lisa,
I've never made a baked mac-and-cheese. I'll see if I can find anyone who has a good one... Veggies on the grill are more up my alley! I will post my latest discovery on those, OK?
We miss Columbus like crazy!!!! I can only imagine what it must be like to still be there and have everyone leave you. Do you know Natalie Clarke? She was in the same boat as you--stayed for residency when all her friends left. You should get in touch with her--she's awesome. Let me know if you want her info, and I can email you. Also, my sister just moved onto the same street we used to live on--how fun is that? So we'll be up there pretty regularly, I should drop by and see your new place. I'll let you know when we're up there next, OK?
Hope you're having a fun summer!

  7. Not a request but a thank you. I am really terrible at picking good recipes and extremely bored of our old recipes. We know it the Riches like it, it must be good. Let me tell you the recipes have been awesome. My in-laws were just in town and think all my recipes taste this good. THanks for all your hard work and expecially for helping the Swensons to enjoy food other than peanut Butter M&Ms and icecream.
